Connection

A Far Away Place

-Sean and his sister Josie where still missing. The police where trying to locate them. Detecive Constable Harding went to their school to talk to the children to find out if they could give him some clues to help them find the missing children.
The Detective told the children of what had happened to Sean and Josie when they were leaving school, hoping that they will remember something even a very small detail which will help them in their investigation.

-(Connection) This reminds me of a game we play with my friends and my dad, when I have visitors coming to see me in the house in the mountains. The house is very close to Troodos and there is a forest all around it. In this game we walk in the forest, always with my dad, looking for clues which may be will lead us to some discovery.
I remember when I was in Junior School when a friend of mine came to see us during a weekend on the house at the mountains. After lunch me and my friends and my dad took our walking sticks and walked in the forest trying to look for clues. While walking on a little path we found a lot of marks on the ground which looked like scratches and lots of little broken twigs. We all thought that a rabbit or some kind of bird passed by through there. We started looking for a nest or a hole in the ground. Finally we spotted a little hole, we looked very, very carefully inside but we didn't find anything. Maybe the rabbit got scared from the noise and was hidding deep inside the hole. We carriend on and then my friend spotted some used bullets on the ground and a bit further up I found a boot. This was an amazing clue. We started looking everywhere for a dead body, it was really scary. No matter how hard we searched we didn't find anything at all.
I still wondered if there was really a dead body somewhere or it was just my dad making fun of us.
However I find this a very interesting game which I still play with my dad and my friends when they come over for a visit at the house on the mountains.
