Miss Happiness and Miss Flower

Nona wanted a doll house to put in the Japanese dolls, Miss Happiness and Miss Flower. Belinda said that she had a doll house where the two dolls could stay, but when Nona saw the house she didn't like it. It wasn't proper for the dolls. It should be a Japanese house. That was the place where the two dolls could live happily. Nona saw Tom making a model boat out of wood. Tom told Nona the he coped the picture from a book. The next day Nona went to Mr. Twilfit's bookstore looking for a book of how to build a Japanese house. Mr. Twilfit gave her lots of books which she read and learnt all about Japanese houses. Tom promised that he was going to make a wooden Japanese house for her. He had all the tools on his working studio.

-(connection) This reminds me of the working bench he has in his studio at home. He has all the tools you can imagine. Electric saw, sander, electric chisel, carving tools, and lots of different pieces of wood. Unlike Nona I happen to be my dad's helper. He doesn't really give me any hard jobs to do, because I'm just a begginner and I have a lot of things to learn and to do. We also use books to copy pictures and make them out of wood. One month before Christmas me and my dad started doing our wooden Christmas decorations. My dad found a lovely picture of an angel which he drew on wood. He cut it with his hand saw and me as a helper I had a task to paint them any colour I wanted but always their wings were white and their hair colour was yellow. Now that Christmas is over we have a new project working on. I decided to carve a swan on wood which we will print on paper when I finished it. I I learnt how to use an electric chisel. I'm not very expirience at it yet that's why my dad stands beside me and helps me with the turns and curves. And he makes sure I had the tool correctly so I don't hurt myself. Sorry I have to leave beacause I have a project to present in a few days at school.
